Who is worse LaRue or BCM leghumpers ?
To me neither.
People like or dislike whatever they want.
I personally own a Stag model 1 and an M&P-15X. Some people here say they'd never own one because they're lesser rifles or whatever. But niether one of them has given me a reason to doubt that they will go bang every time I squeeze the trigger. Until they do I have complete faith in them if I ever had to use them in defense of my life or my loved ones. However they would not be my first choice as my skills with them are not as good as my skills with my Glocks or my 870 due to my LE training...
Neither, or both
BCM Upper, LaRue lower + mount and I live in Austin...
Trolls are much worse.
especially democrat oppologist trolls (24 May 2008 )
This is a correct answer .
I totally agree.... and the trolls that can't spell just make it sadder.
Both BCM and LaRue make good products. Sounds like you have a case of envy.
Both provide very high quality parts.
LaRue leghumpers are worse than BCM leghumpers, because anything as expensive as LaRue shouldn't need leghumping. BCM is priced in line with other manufacturers and also offers great or superior products.
I own products from both - I am a fan of both, and I don't mind people being leghumpers. I'd rather hear from satisfied (and, heck, even dissatisfied customers) about why a product is or is not worth my dough than be subjected to one-sided advertising. I found out about both companies through people's comments on this forum and one other. I'm glad there are enough leghumpers to help me make decisions that I am satisfied with or happy about.
LaRue's pricing isn't really all that different than its competitors. A little more than ADM and a little less than Bobro. Their complete rifles are priced pretty darn reasonably.
I'd say those damn Noveske followers!
Can't blame the LaRue leg humpers, anything from Texas is so sexy it is irresistible
It does seem AR brand leg humpers are much more vocal than 1911 brand leg humpers in general. All in all it does not bother me.
No different than us Glock leg humping fan boys in my eyes. People buy quality. Can't blame them. As stated, sounds like you are a little jealous you had to settle for DPMS. I am a Spikes guy anyways.
I agree. I referred to 'other manufacturers' rather than 'competitors' because competition tends to indicate equivalency more. BCM and LaRue have the combination of quality and value that I consider first when making a purchase. For a scope mount on a really nice scope that I might move gun to gun, I want the best and won't twice about the cost. For a $40 scope on my plinking 10/22, pretty much lowest price leads - might not end up with the cheapest, but I'm not trying to build a competition gun.
Noveske is so 2008.
