They're all pretty good in their own way.

The Duvdevan model is pretty interesting.

There is only one Special Forces.

There are a number of groups that are part of Special Operations.

That makes the choice much easier.

    (sorry, I couldnt help myself)

There is no clear winner. All are the best of the best and each group has their own specialties.

Depends on the job at hand. That's why JSOC can pick and choose who gets what mission and even use mixed units.

It's like asking what is the best hammer.

    Claw
    Sledge
    Peen
    Plenshing
    Farrier
    Fuller

Depends on what you are doing.

Spetsnaz, as they simply kill all the suspects and hostages. You can't beat a 100% success rate. HH

When you're dealing with the level of elite forces represented by the list, it's no longer a question of which one is the "best", but rather which one is the best suited for a particular mission based on that mission's specific objective and profile. All of them represent the creme-de-la-creme of what our military has to offer.

Great explanation, very well stated. They are all great and all have their place.

Rumored to have killed hundreds of thousands. I seen him in Vietnam .
Seriously though that was some nasty **** they exposed us to. Have a few friends who passed from cancer related to that ****.
