I've seen a number of threads on people sending there Gen 4's to Glock due to BTF/erratic ejection only go get it back with the same problem or a new gun.. with the same problem.

Who of you lucky few has sent a Gen 4 to Glock to fix the BTF/Ejection issues and get it back FIXED ? Please chime in.

It's not if it comes back fixed or not. It's more like if it is working for how long????

I sent my Gen4 G-19 back about three months ago for a different reason. They sent a new one to me within ten days.
2200 rounds through it - flawless. Date on test shell July 15 or so.

I sent my Gen4 17 in for stove piping and BTF. I got it back fixed with a new ejector. It started doing it again 300 rounds later. I sent it back again and they sent me a brand new Gen4 17; which has been good so far but I need another 1000 rounds through it to be satisfied.

(Customer service from Glock was/is excellent)

Brand new G30sf and the slide-lock (flat) spring broke before I could even fire the gun! :steamed: Sent it in (Glock paid) before Thanksgiving and had it back, frame replaced, in about 12 days including holiday and weekend. I was pleased.

I sent my 30SF in. It came back 8 weeks later, still disfunctional.

The second time I sent it in it came back fixed, as a 21SF. :)

Glock 19 Gen 4 - bought new and also had stovepipe issues and cartridges kicking back into my face. Sent to Glock - free shipping - got back with new ejector and spring - put over 1000 rounds thru it and haven't had any issues at all. 100% satisfied!

GEN 2 G 19, I have had it so long, the second set of factory night sights had burned out. The gun has less than 300 rds through it, had not been shot in 15 years. I put Tru Glo TFOs on it and it continually shot to the left (4" at 10 yds, from a rest). I sent it in and they called stating the barrel was "Shot out?" Another call a week later, apparently it isn't the barrel.

I get a refurbished G3 in the mail with my new TFO's installed. It shoots like a champ.

    Very Happy

I've always been very happy with their service. I had a pair of 21's, pretty old. I think they were early 90's guns and I had a stovepipe with Black Talons. I called Glock few years back and they advised there were updates on both.

I shipped them back and they did major upgrades, redid slide/ejection port machine work and all kinds of stuff. I was also very happy with their attitude.

I purchased a Glock 21 with the ambidextrous safety. Well, I finally got around to shipping it down to Glock in Georgia. A few days later a nice technical service representative called me and asked me what pistol I would like to replace the G21 Ambi-Mag release model?

On the warranty service form I requested a G30SF or G21SF. He told me that they did not have any G30SF or G21SF models in stock at the time. How about a G30 Gen4? He said he had not even seen a production version and asked if I would mind holding on for a few minutes, no worries. I also told the rep that Ed's Public Safety had them available for at least a month as see on Facebook.

After about 5 minutes, he came back on the line and said that if I did not mind a 2-3 week wait, he would have one to send me. On Friday the following week I opened the box from GI Inc. and found a new G30 Gen4 with three new mags in the new case.

    Great customer service.

My G19 Gen3 is back in Smyrna for the 3rd time. It suffers from BTF and stove pipe disease as well. They replaced the extractor each time, but then it wears out in about 100-200 rounds. I'm asking for a replacement this time. We'll see what they say.

I really want to love this gun!
