$20,000 in gold or $20,000 in ammunition? And why?
$20,000 in gold because I've got close to $20,000 in ammo. 😄
Gold because it's a lot easier to convert into ammo legally than vice versa.
Gold because I've got at least $20.00 in ammo
No brainer, take the $20K in gold.
20k in gold and I can use some to buy some ammo and mags. If I had 20k in ammo I need some mags too
In 1990 gold was $400/ounce and surplus 7.62 was running about $175/k rounds.
Gold has quadrupled while the ammo has not quite tripled.
However, when the SHTF, ammo would make great ballistic wampum, maybe better than gold.
Whatever okie says.
The $20k in gold, but I'd sell it fast and invest the proceeds in an S&P 500 index fund.
Gold for me. Yes, it is in a slight dip at the moment. Over the long haul, gold is a much better investment than ammo.
The gold for all reasons above. Plus I can give some to those I wish with no worries they won't know WHAT to do with it.
Hands down gold!
Take the gold. Make the gold into ammo. Great for pimp varminting. I may be getting pimps/gold bullets and werewolves/silver bullets mixed up.
with 20gs in ammo i could "talk" alot of people that have 20gs in gold into letting me hold it for 'em... just sayin (just kiddin)
The price of gold changes by the minute so I take the gold.
20k in gold.
20k in ammo would get shot at the range, 20k in gold would be an investment.
