What do you think? Want a small 9mm....

G26 or Diamondback DB9 or XDS 9mm (when it is released) or Kahr PM9 or MP9c?
Or wait until a single stack pistol comes out?

Like G26 but kinda heavy and blocky and hump backstrap but so darn reliable! Kahr PM9 seems hit or miss or is it more hit now?

What about the others mentioned? Nano seems 50/50 from what I;ve read.

Just want a small reliable 9mm

I'm very impressed with the Kahr cm9. I had one that my fiance used in a class we took, she shot it so well, I let her keep it and bought another. Truthfully, when I went to the range to break in a new Glock 26 gen4, I shot the little Kahr better. The cm9 is 200 bucks cheaper than the pm9 and shoots just as well.

I love my Glocks, but the little Kahr is superb.

In the interest of full disclosure, I have a cw45 Kahr that took three round trips to the factory to make it right, but both nines were perfect.

Several people here are pretty outspoken in their dislike of Kahrs, but my CM9 has been absolutely flawless. I had a bad magazine (not the original 6er, but the free 7-round they were giving away last fall as a promotion), but the pistol itself has been perfect.

    I have a G26, and an M&P 9c. Both are keepers.

It depends on how much you plan to shoot your subcompact 9. If you plan to use it for 25,000+ rounds, then I believe Glock is your only option.

I have a PM9 and love it. It really hides well, is very accurate, and has a smooth (but very long) trigger. You can't go wrong with a Glock, either.

Glock 26 is my favorite subcompact 9. Depends on if you're looking for an IWB gun or a pocket gun. 26 is the ultimate IWB gun, IMO.

Glock 26 is my favorite all around gun right now. When I need to go smaller (which doesn't happen often) I go to my PF-9. The Glock 26 will get you most places with the most capacity, best reliability and really good concealment.

    Own a 26, love it.

If I were in the market for one right now, I'd look hard at the Walther PPS in 9mm.

    To the OP:

Glock 26, as far as the "hump backstrap", take a look at the 4th Gen with the smaller grip option.

I don't care for the 3rd Gens grip on the 26, but the 4th Gen with the small grip option is perfect for my hands.

    Good luck on your choice.

DOn't even consider the DB. Period.
LC9 feels great in the hand, but it's got a looooonng triggger.
I like my CM9 the best.
