    I have a Sig 229 in both 40 ca. & .357Sig barrel!

I know both calibers will incapacitate very well but the question I have is Given only one choose--which one would you prefer Mas for best incapacitation?

40 cal. using Winchester Ranger T series 165+p
.357 Sig using Speer Gold Dot 1125?

Many Thanks for your hard earned input.

Wonder Dog, I'm not aware of any genuine +P ammo in .40 S&W.

With either the .40 S&W using a 165 grain JHP or a 125 grain .357 SIG, assuming each is at full velocity, I think you're well armed with either.

Some time on the range will show us which shoots better to that slide's sights, and which is faster back on target for follow-up shots, and those are key points to guiding your selection.

I'd feel well armed with either one.

    Many thanks -Mas!
I'm off to the range to see how the Sig 229 handles both ammo's .

Wife just baked one of my favorites--a blueberry pie (think I'll try a slice).
