    Hello Mr Ayoob

My question is , of all the seroiuos calibers for carry, 9 mm, 40, 45, 357, which caliber and round would be less prone to a overpenetration

Won't be about caliber so much as it will be about bullet configuration. At the risk of oversimplification, the more the bullet opens up, the less likely it is to overpenetrate.
