Which 6.5mm?

    To be built on a short action Rem 700 for shooting 600+ yards, which 6.5mm would you reccomend? 6.5CM, 6.5x284, .260 Rem or 6.5x47 Lapua?

    .260 for a "short action."

    If you want to go long action both 6.5-284 and 6.5-06 have been used to good effect.

    I was leaning toward's the .260 or the 6.5x47. Any reason you choose the .260 over the Lapua?
