I've just about got the wife talked into a new lens. I'm looking for a Canon 70-200 f/2.8L. I've gotten all of my Canon gear from Amazon in the past, but I'm open to suggestions. There is a really nice Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS on ebay right now, but it'll probably get out of my price range before it's over. I'm a little nervous about a purchase that size from ebay anyway.

    Thanks.

This one? That's actually Adorama, just sold through Amazon. Always check "sold by". You should be fine, though.

  5. whatever you do, do not use Wolf/Ritz Camera online...they are not the same company as the stores you find in the mall, and they will rip you off!!! There Customer service is outsourced to India, and it is terrible...be warned...avoid at all costs!

Wow, you're right. I didn't know Amazon shifted suppliers for the same listing. I thought listings were always unique to the supplier.

    I certainly hope so :dunno:

Editted to add - After double checking the manufacturer's model numbers, the one I ordered comes with the lens hood and soft case.

Not always the case with outside suppliers. Just because Canon lists the lens with hood doesn't mean you'll get it from the dealer that sold it.

Kindda like gun dealers removing the 17 round mags & replacing them with Klinton-mags before selling the gun during the ban.

    This one does: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/91680-GREY/Canon_2569A004_70_200mm_f_2_8L_USM_Autofocus.html

I think I'm really gonna like this lens. I finally got to snap some quick pics to try it out.
