Where I live in Spain...

  1. It is just a term to refer to Jamon Ibérico. My father in law was gifted a leg at Christmas time (they come in at €200) It is the best ham in my opinion, great with a glass of Faustino (red wine) from La Rioja (some of the best wines in Spain) with a nice cheese.

If she is a Scott she'll be pale as a sheet of paper and when you come in from a hard day of tossing a tree trunk around in your skirt she'll sit a plate of sheep guts down in front of you to eat.:tongueout:

Jamon iberico is like mana from heaven. The regular jamon serrano is already superior to the French, Italian and American cured ham.

    She is Scottish.
    She is HOT!!!

She is also a lefty and married.

I could live with the lefty part, but I don't go after married women.

  6. Not married yet but engaged lol

How are the protests on Madrid going? Are the Spanish, like the Greeks, calling the Germans nazis because the Germans won't send them more money so they can retire at 45?

  8. The Spanish are angry with their own government because of the drastic cuts (fools) I don't particularly like the government here but it could be worse.

Here in this part it is totally different and not as hard hit like the other big cities and the capital

I had some Spanish jambon. Not sure if this is what you are talking about.

The closest I can describe it was a complete pig leg (with skin and some hair). There was then a "leg holder" that held the leg and you cut pieces off with a knife.

I didn't care for it. The hair and skin was strange and it was more cured than smoked. I like my ham more smoke flavored.

Are you sure that it was Spanish jamon and not French jambon?
