Real life change comes from bold people willing to stand up to stupid leaders (which is most of them). We would not have the USA if the FF were not pissed off at injustice in the 18th century.
Today in the USA we have an omnipotent police state that sees and hears all. The change in the middle east (syria, libya) is coming about because the USA and Europe decided the leaders had to go. I don't know what is going to bring about change in the USA. The 2nd certainly doesn't hurt but i suspect it is not going to help. 1 or 2 million armed citizens in the USA, on the streets will simply be crushed. If the entire USA stages a tax revolt and sickout for a month, this might achieve something. The Police state will make sure this does not happen anytime soon.
I think we're all flotsam in the tide. 3 boxes: Soap, ballot, ammo, use in that order.

I'm waiting for Dinky to chime in.

What's more of a life-changing event than a sex change and getting a life-sized tattoo of Popeye?

Pay no mind to the conscience decision to rejoin the human race about 14 years ago. The jury is still out on that one

I keep my change in my left front pants pocket in one of those squeezy coin purse things, very tactical not to have your change jingling.

As for life change, I am not motivated enough to change I guess. I should. I did change nicotine delivery systems. no more smoke, steam now.
