Where can I get a rear BUIS for cheap?

I am thinking I should really get around to adding a rear BUIS to my build and it will be almost complete (still need to mess around with sling options).

    So far I've got:

    Colt LE6920
    Magpul MIAD rear grip
    DD non-FF rail
    Magpul Stubby VFG
    Aimpoint Comp M2
    Magpul rail covers

Anyway my budget is starting to run low, and I have kind of put off getting the rear sight, as I use the rifle pretty hard, but rely on my Aimpoint. I am just planning on using the front sight post as it is.

I hear the troy sights are great, but I'd rather not drop $120 on one right now. How do people like the Magpul sights? I'd like to not go over $50. Would I be better of just waiting? Is there anywhere I could get one used?

    Thanks,

    Nathan

Nothing wrong with the Magpul MBUS sights. I prefer the Troy, but you'll be well served by the Magpul rear.

My MBUS sights serve me pretty well. I'd recommend them.

I used MBUS on a duty gun. They work fine.

Check ebay or the classified if you want a used rear Troy but they don't pop up that much... I have MBUS on my Bushmaster and they work fine.

Thanks, I've seen on ebay where most of the magpul sights are listed it says they are for airsoft...?

Also, what is the difference between the first and second generation magpul sights?

These will co-whitness sp? with my aimpoint and front sight post right?

They should co-witness fine, depending on which mount you have for your optic.

This guy is a good seller, based in Colorado. Don't buy Magpul stuff on eBay. You will get the training crap more than likely.

Go Gen 2 for Magpul. I don't remember the difference but it is noticeable when you look at the two. Definitely make sure it's not the Airsoft crap.

Love my Magpul sights. Just ordered a second set in Flat dark earth.

Chop the carryhandle that came on your 6920. Free, reliable.

Not everyone likes or wants a fixed rear behind their optic.

Yup, one of those is me. I prefer flip up sights.

Yep. I don't even like a fixed front when using optics.

Ya, I've been shooting without the rear sight for a couple months. The front post never bothered me much. My carry handle has an old original Colt 4 power scope that mounts on top of the carry handle for a little longer range work.

I'd like a flip down back sight though.

I prefer fixed, don't want to have to hit buttons if my optic goes down at the worst possible time. DD fixed rear for me.
