When do you see the ammo shortage loosening up?

When all this craziness started with availability of ammo and guns, I thought it would be shortlived. I'm not sure anymore. When do you think ammo will be more readily available and prices will start to come back down?

Not until there's a new administration that is able to interpret the 2nd amendment.

  5. When the stock market finally crashes under the weight of this administration's anti-capitalist policies. The resulting recession will lower demand causing prices for raw materials and eventually finished products to drop.

I'm settling in for the long haul, I just bought a box of .40 for twenty bucks and was happy to do it because it was the first I've seen in weeks.

NEVER!!! because the frakkin moronic radically liberal jackwagons in government at all levels are gonna legislate to have heavy taxes slapped on complete ammunition and ammunition manufacturing components so there will be another friggin rush on ammo and reloading components when the supply returns to almost normal :faint:

I think its already showing signs of improvement. The local shops in my area have guns, mags and ammo on the shelves, just at a higher price and with limits on quantity.

It will slowly get better over the next few months. Don't pass on a good deal if you find it though, it wouldn't take much to send us back into panic mode.

As always make sure the next time you are set. I have a pretty decent stash of mags and ammo at the house so I wasn't affected much by the recent events. It did put a damper on my weekly trip to the local shop to browse and pick up a box of ammo or two, but thats all. Start picking up a box or two of ammo or a magazine a week and it will add up fast. If you find a good deal make a bulk purchase and stash it away. You'll have enough to ride the next panic out in a short time.

As a dealer there are no signs of it getting any better. Ammo comes and goes as it is being made but that does not really help.

You can not judge a shortage by looking at the ammo shelves. You have to look up the supply chain to see what is going to refill those shelves. It looks pretty bleak right now.

Have you heard of any of the ammo ammo companies expanding their operations and adding more machinery? Or are they just doing what they usually do, produce what they can with what they have.

  15. If the RKBA movement picks up votes in the Senate, I'd say it will get better after the mid term elections

As soon as the Federal Gov't quits buying up so much ammo. First, we get rid of the Kenyan in the White House.

When people stop taking advantage of the panic buying. Would it surprise you to know that the supply has been corrupted by investors? People who see a "supply and demand" opportunity?
