Gen one two pin vs. 3 pin. Gen. 2-3 nothing, same frame.

    Incorrect. GEN1 & GEN2 G19 would be 2-pin. GEN3 G19 started with the 2-pin but changed into the 3-pin later in production. GEN4 G19 is 3-pin.

All GENs of G23 are 3-pin.

The question stands...Is there any difference other than the pins for different generations? They are both gen. 3.

+1 the .40 (G23) Ejector is straight. The 9 (G19) Ejector slants in some. They can be swapped.
