Tritium for now. I have been wondering if the superluminova (used by Rolex, IWC etc for their watches) is now made for night sights.
Salamat Jerry! Yep I ended with Tritiums. Ordered from Ameriglo green/yellow combination.
Was also looking at XS 24/7 big dot, but big nga siya
Anywayz, salamat uli!!!
Superluminova won't work because you have to expose them to light first to charge it somehow, and the glow only lasts for a short period of time.
Eto comparison ng superluminova and tritium. Walang magawa sa bahay dapat nakasama na lang ako sa photo op kanina.
Seiko with MKII face/hands (LumiNova) and Luminox (Tritium)
LumiNova not charged (just came out of drawer )
LumiNova charged with flashlight, it really is brighter than tritium but only lasts for a couple of hours
nice tickers you got there mayroon pa ba kayo diyang iba, watch collection is also a nice one to indulge into....
TFO (Tritium and FO combined)for day and night sight. It is super bright!
Nelany I saw your TFOs, they're really nice!
BTW are you here in the Philippines? Where did you have your sights replaced? I read on XD talk that the XD sights are a pain to replace without the proper tool.
I let Forsite in Ali Mall replaced my sight. They have the sight pusher thus it is easy for them to replace it.
Novaks are pretty bright. Here's some pics of these installed oo my Colt .380
Heinie Slant Pro Straight Eight Night Sights, from my own experience, are not as bright as the Novaks. Here's a set installed on my SIG.
