I'm really getting into The Beattles again (I was just a kid when they were still together and Paul McCartney is one of my idols). I have all of their hit songs on my iPhone but want to go further with other songs. What's considered their best album? What's your favorite?

    Thanks.

Let it Be does it for me! Also like Revolver and Rubber Soul.

Well my favorite song of all time is on Sgt. Peppers (A Day In The Life), but I think that the White Album is my favorite overall.

    For me: Abbey Road.
    Dates back from September 1969.
Bur for an old-timer like me, it's still the max.
    Stay safe!

A vote here for The White Album, no make that Abbey Road, no make that Let It Be. Could be Sgt. Peppers though.

Wow, that’s hard. I have been a hugeBeatles fan my whole life. Crazy about them. I love the early Beatles, but Let itBe would be my favorite. I never liked Sgt Peppers until I was in my 30ies andthen I could appreciate how great it was.

Hard to pick one, but my favorite is a collection of old & new on a CD called (I think) Beatles 1's.

Sgt. Pepper's was definitely the best for creativity.

I found a great DVD collection of all their performances on Ed Sullivan.

All were great, but I have a special fondness for Rubber Soul since it was the first album I bought as a kid. I also enjoyed the later compilation albums like the Red and Blue double albums and Love Songs. I had them all, but lost them over the years.

Does anyone remember an album called Rarities? It was a collection of unusual never before released cuts. I remember a version of Penny lane with an extra riff from a fugal horn at the end and a German version of "She Loves you". I think it came out in the mid 80's.

For me and being from the era, it is Rubber Soul.

I confess that I wasn't a huge fan (all of the girls my age were enamored with Paul, John or George :crying: ) and base my opinion on what attracted me when played on the radio.

I have to vote for Sgt Pepper, no wait, the White Album. Abby Road is pretty darn good too. But how could you not go for Magical Mystery Tour?

I love them all more than a bit.

Revolver is supposed to be the best album and it leaves me pretty meh.
