Another one! Just got another one. I love this stupid little thing so much I bought a brother for it. I plan on topping this newer one with a red-dot and possibly a green laser.

Just had to gloat a bit. Thanks for listening. I will get pics of the "family" soon!

If you had to have a second one wait until you see the pistol version due out very soon

That sounds cool, but I will probably pass on it. I really enjoy a rifle.

    Certainly-

    I said that 2 ruger Chargers ago!!!!

I know. But this is a dedicated rifle system and a dedicated rifle platform, so that's where it will stay, in my book. Now, for the Kel-Tec PMR 30? a handgun- er.....I mean "pistol" that is chambered in 22 mag with a 30 round capacity? Different Story!

My friend has one and it's one accurate rifle! Only problem is it's still jamming like crazy. It would jam 4/25rds slow fire. Would not get through a full mag rapid fire w/o a jam. We've used CCI minimags, Remington Golden Bullets, Winchester 555 and Federal Bulk. It seems to like Winchesters the best, but it still jams from time to time. Any ideas? What ammo does yours like?

Does your friend know about the S&W mag's correct loading procedure?

No offense, but some folks were pulling down the follower, and just dropping rounds in, and getting alot of feed jams.

The best way to load the mag seems to be to stuff one round at a time in, using the mag follower button only to take a small amount of tension off to make inserting each round easy.

I would not recommend Remingtons for this gun. Nothing but problems.

I would not recommend ANY Remington rimfire ANTHING for ANY weapon EVER again. Sorry to be a bit biased, but I am only speaking from conseiderable expereince. I am tired of "clicking" onto primerless garbage at 24 bucks a box.

Especailly considering that Federal 550 is 16 bucks. Sorry, rem.

I've tried them all, GSG5, sig 522, colt M4, Walther G22, Ruger SR22, Remington fake ar looking thing, etc., and the S&W 15-22 is the best of the best! GSG 5 is my 2nd favorite.

Throw a short shotgun scope such as a Weaver 4x32 on it and it's a mini sniper rifle. I love this thing!

CCI Mini-Mags (both hollowpoints and round-nosed) have worked 100% in my S&W M&P-22, to the tune of about 200 rounds of each load. I even ran 80 rounds of CCI Stingers through it with no stoppages. Personally, I am avoiding Winchester like the plague after seeing evidence of people blowing case heads while using it (yes, I know it's on the factory's "approved ammo" list; it's just not on MY approved ammo list). User pesticidal here on GT blew case heads TWICE in his gun using Win ammo.

So far, the only problems I've had seem to be minor; a few failures to eject while using the Federal bulk-pack stuff (both the hollowpoints and AutoMatch round-nose), and only when the gun was dirty (defined as more than 100 rounds through it without cleaning or extra lube). I'd prefer it to be a little less picky, but if it keeps running like this and/or gets a bit better with the Fed stuff, I can live with it.

Cool. I broke it in on CCI mini mags and am easing into federal bulk. First 75 rounds of the Federal were no probs, then a minor FTE now and then over the hundred round mark, but as you said, that was in a dirty gun. NOt too bad. Heck- I'm happy. Again.

Overall, very pleased and really enjoy this gun- just as much as the other one!
