The two parts in bold almost made me throw up in my mouth. They are completely incompatible statements.

  7. There's a fantastic old Jehovah Witness saying:
We are the pure and chosen few, and all the rest are damned.
There’s room enough in hell for you — we don’t want heaven crammed.

I believe in God and heaven but heaven sounds like a dreadful bore. Will there be politics? Will we still have to deal with folks that suck up to God to try to get a better deal?
  10. The Bible has the answers. God will give us a piece of land in the country and a room in the city. There will be plenty of things to do beside gardening, building and getting to know millions of close friends as well as travel to billions of stars with their inhabitants.

Isaiah 65:22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
Isaiah 65:23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

We will not marry in heaven. All of heaven is a very close family much closer than we experience now.

Luke 20:31 And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
Luke 20:32 Last of all the woman died also.
Luke 20:33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.
Luke 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
Luke 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage.
Luke 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

The pet? Maybe. There will be animals that we get along with and who get along with all of the other animals.

Isaiah 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

We will not need to sleep. There will be no night. There will be no fatigue.

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

The earth is the reward of the saved NOT heaven. Christians like to add to Gods word but in the Bible there is no mention of the saved going to live in heaven. What will the saved be doing on their promise ( the earth)? The Bible is pretty clear for the most part, and one must remember God does nothing in vain. So I would assume the universe is are play/ work ground. I say work because God continues to work six days out of every week and exspects ys to do the same. Will this stop after we are changed? I dont think so!

Read Revelation 21 and 22 in the King James Bible:

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

I just thought of something: If we eat who will clean the toilets?:whistling:

If God is resting on the Sabbath, why do so many pray to Him on that day?

I know this video has been posted many times here before, but I have to add this to the thread. This is pretty much my view as well....

  20. The Sabbath and marriage are all that we have left from the Garden of Eden.

The Sabbath is about relationship with God. It is not about inactivity.

Isaiah 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
Isaiah 58:7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
Isaiah 58:8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy reward.
