I was just a POS 3531 with 3rd MAR DIV...got out, went USAR...started as a 35L and ended, this year, with 37F.
I'll speak on my lil bro's behalf....0311 to 0321, 1st MAR DIV

Secondary 8531--Primary Marksmanship Instructor
7212 Stinger Missile Gunner 92-96. Currently 15G, Army Aircraft Structural Repair. Funny how things come full circle. In the Marines I shot em down, in the Army, I fix em and put em back in the air.
Worked with 2nd LAAD when I was ominously sent to the Wing as a driving instructor.

Gah, 29 Palms -- I started there in 87, and retired there in 08--from the same Platoon! S-3; I started out in the 3 in the command LAV section as a private, and retired as the S-3 Asst Ops Chief.
When I got orders back to 3rd LAR, I called the monitor and did everything I could to go somewhere else. Didn't work out.
