I have my 9mm bases covered, 19 and 17. I have old school 1911 but no modern 45. Would you get a 21 or a new caliber, say a 23 (40)? I carry a 22 at work but I never liked the recoil. Maybe a 23 witth some undercutting (demel) of the trigger guard would stop the Glock knuckle I get with the 40. Does the 26 play a role with the others? What to buy now?

I'm also looking at the 21. Deaf a hard decision to make

Love the 23. Not a 21 fan - for no good reason other then I shoot 1911's to shoot 45. Do you ccw the 19? If not, the 26 is a natural fit. Or get the 27 and a 9mm conversion barrel and have the best of both worlds? Then you could shoot all of your 9mm mags, have a new .40cal piece and one of the baby glocks.

I just got my Gen4 23 and shot it for the first time today, love it, not as much recoil as I expected. It has fiber optic night sights and I added the grip force beavertail grip to give it a little 1911 feel. Traded my G26 for it(and a little cash). My vote is for the G23.

I have a Gen4 G21 and 23, both are fantastic. As much as I like the .40, in your case if you don't have a lot of 40 ammo, I'd probably just stick to the 9mm and .45. If you don't like the G22 recoil, chances are you won't like the G23 recoil. Tough choice, the 21 and 23 are two of my favorite models.

I just bought a Gen 4 G23 and shot 250 rounds through it yesterday and i LOVED it. I sold my G22 to upgrade to the G23 and dont regret it at all

    I'd stick with 9mm and 45ACP. Go for the 30 or 21.

My buddy gets the "Glock knuckle" with my 22 but not his 23, my other friend gets it from the 23 and not the 22. I can shoot all 3 and be fine(22,23,27).

    my order would be 21,26,23

If you have shot a G22 a lot you nay not care for the extra weight and thickness of the G21. The G21's are do different that you may or may not experience Glock knuckle. I love the baby Glocks but after about 50rds they tend to rub me. My Gen4 G23 is my absolute favorite Glock.

I'd go with one of the 10mms or 357 Sigs.

I've got all three (well, one's a 19, instead of 23, but this is more a question of size and capacity, I would think).

The 21 is hands down my favorite. If easy concealment is not a big issue, it's the one I'd pick. If concealment ever came up, I'd go with the 23. I've not really found much use for the 26 lately, except for the hottest days where I don't want to have hardly anything touching my body.

Your not finished with your 9mm base until you get the 26.

    Not on the OP's list.

I vote G23, can be 3 calibers in one gun.

Why not a G27? Since your considering a G23 and a G26. I have never like the idea of only having one or a couple of caliber choices. You could even shoot a G27 with a factory G19 barrel. (I have done it a lot and have never noticed the slight hint of damage or wear)
