    There is a thread here with a 1911, with snake skin grip panels, and it looks freakin awesome. Should I order a set of them or stick with the OD green:headscratch:

    I sort of dig the OD, but I'm more of a double diamond grips guy, myself. :) Nice gat!

    I'd like you to get a set of the snakeskins just to get a user report on them.

    ;)

    Of course, I like the grips I have on my present 1911s so I'd have to buy another 1911 to go under the real snakeskin grips - which doesn't constitute a downside...
