I have a front night sight for a SIG that was given to me used. It is a yellow tritium that is 0.237" in height. That is 0.007" more than a #6. Unfortunately it had been filed at the base and would need to be shimmed to permanently fit my SIG BUT the POA is perfect for hot 115 gr. +p+ CCW loads!! I asked Brownell's and they said that perhaps it was a "PTR"(?) sight. Also, the tritium died.

Does anyone know who makes a front night sight this height? Neither Ameriglo nor Trijicon does. :dunno: There are no markings on it telling what it is or from whom.
