I have a couple of 8 round Smith and Wesson 627 8 round 357 Magnums. They take a moonclip but I'm concerned about fragility and bending. I also find them slower than speed loaders or speed strips. What is your opinion?

A rigid pouch for moon clips that keeps them from getting bent is great on a police uniform belt or at a competitive revolver shooter's waist, but hard to find for concealment, particularly with long .357 cartridges. Off the top of my head, I can't think of one.

The faster reload of six rounds of hardball (or hardball ogive) .45 ACP cartridges compared to speedloaders is obvious. The speed suffers when you have to align eight instead of six longer .38 Special/.357 Magnum cartridges, with eight instead of six relatively smaller chambers.
