Wondering what the glocktalk 1911 members prefer for a 1911 concealed carry holster...
The only one I have is a comp tac minatour holster. I like it a lot.
I had a OWB holster for my officers It was okay, but I think that because I am a larger build guy. But then I got my Fullsize springer and got a ShieldedHolster from this site's member Kwart, and love it. spreads the weight out great, it tuckers it in tight, it is tuckable, it is adjustable for cant and depth, it is leather lined kydex shell, it has great retention, and it has a combat cut. All of this set me back 45.00 I can't imagine a 150+ holster doing any better of a job, I would recommend them 100%
Great holster and good price
That is my favorite. Not because it's pretty, cause it's dog ugly. But because it works so well I actually forget I am wearing a gun.
Nossar Gunleather is my rig of choice for my 1911's.
Milt Sparks Versa Max 2.
A true IWB/OWB combo holster from Pure Kustom.
Ok, he has to be a friend/family/something or other for you to keep mentioning him. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but the skull faced grips on an advert and full blown scenery on a holster makes me laugh. Then I see the prices he's asking.
I mean no offense to you or your taste.. to each his own. I'm just sayin.
I hate to admit it, but the MS VersaMax II is the best I've tried thus far
I use the Tucker Gunleather Cover Up the most, but I really like the Texas Heritage the most. (Cover Up is great when you have the need to quickly take it off and on throughout the day)
