Remington 700 SS in 30.06 with a Leupold VX-III 2.5x8 on top.
If the cover is really thick I use my Remington 870 12ga.
Primary: Remington model four, 308 cal. auto loader.
Muzzleloader: Winchester Apex 50 cal.
Thick brush: Remington 870 slug gun, 12ga.
I plan on picking up a Tikka T3 Lite in 7mm-08 (blued) topped with a Bushnell Elite 4200 1.5-6x36 scope.

For the last 5 years or so, my son and I have really enjoyed using Ruger 77 KMKII rifles in 25/06. They are topped with Simmons AETEC 2.8x10x44 scopes. For muzzle loader season, we use 50 caliber Knight DISC rifles, also with AETEC's on 'em.
.243 that my Uncle gave me. He got it in a trade. He gave the guy a dog and he got the rifle. This will be my second year in the field and I am really hoping this year I get some blood on the gun.
Right now my primary deer gun is the Hawken Woodsman .50 caliber percussion rifle from Traditions.
I use a .490 patched ball with a greased pillowticking patch over 80gr of Goex ffg.

Awesome! I am a huge fan of smokepoles and I won't even use a true traditional ML. Kudos to you for being a true purist. Someday I will try and hunt with a Hawken.
I currently use a .54 cal Traditions Timber Ridge with a Tasco Pronghorn 3-9x40. I also use a smooth bore Mossy 500 with rifled Remington slugs.
There is no centerfire rifle season in Indiana.
How is the accuracy with that baby?
For rifle season basic synthetic Rem 700 chambered in 7mmRemMag with a Nichols 3x9x40. I use handloaded 140grn Nosler Ballistic tips.
For Muzzeloading I have a CVA staghorn inline with a Bushnell trophy reddot. The load I use is 100grns of 777 (2 pellets) and a 295grn Powerbelt.

More accurate than I can shoot, for now.
There are guys at the Cascade Rifle & Pistol Club who are shooting 2" groups at 100yds with traditional rifles. I am shooting 4" to 5" groups, I really need to bear down.
Rifle /w possibles bag & accoutrements.
Rem ADL 700 in 30.06 using a Leupold 3x9-40 scope. Using handloaded 165 grain Hornady SST with H414 powder. Have yet to shoot anything with it. Esox357
