I pick up my new Stainless TLR/RL II tomorrow after work, and am considering these Kimber/Crimson Trace grips. What do you guys think?

    Quick photoshop job here

I am not a fan of the crimson trace grips at all personally... The design looks good tho...

CT fan here. I have several of them. I think the digital camo on stainless would be a unique look.

Thanks for the input guys, I think it will look cool too, I am still a bit on the fence, but I think it will be unique looking. I am ordering a Garrett STX holster in Coyote brown, so that should look nice too I think.

Beauty's in the eye of the beer holder

Personally, I think this is the best looking 1911 I've ever seen.

Which is cool. It's your blaster, not mine....so yours is the only opinion that counts. Now get out there and shoot the snot out of it.

Honestly though, I do like the Kimber Pro TLEs (minus the rail). I think they are by far the best value in Kimber's lineup.

up to you. it has three strikes against it for me.
    1. It's a Kimber
    2. don't use CT grips and wouldn't work with how i grip the gun
    3. I don't care for the reverse cut dustcover on the rail.

You may be in the minority on that. You won't get much argument that most guys in this forum think THIS is the best looking 1911 out there.

I'm not a fan of lasers at all, so you'll never see CT grips on any of my handguns, 1911 or otherwise.

No, not a bad experience... I am a lefty for one... So the laser is on the opposite side for me, and I just don't like the laser being on the grip... Just a personal preference is all...

not a ct fan, I got rid of mine that came on my 1911pd.alot of people rely on them too much like a crutch,I bought a pair of grips that I could get a good grip on.the ct grips got slippery real easy.not to mention having to keep them real clean or you get a quarter size dot on your target.save your money and get something useful like ammo.
    this is just my opinion.

I agree with rocketman. Light is single handedly the most important thing for a defensive firearm. Cant shoot what you cant see, and those NS everyone wants to throw on guns wont let you see in the dark and the glowing green light disappears pretty quickly once you pop on a flashlight
