Just handled one at the LGS, felt nice, had the chrome steel parts. I have been looking for an entry level but reliable enough for ccw 1911. Did not want to spend $1500 to find I did not like the platform.

I feel I am ready to give the 1911 platform a go. But, even the employee had only ever seen the one in hand. Can anyone recommend this?

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY RIGHTEOUS INPUT. :wavey:

    I like them.

I've got the ATI FX Military model.

    Thanks fellas. :wavey:

It did feel nice, had a nice trigger. Not light, but crisp. I don't want a very light trigger in a carry 1911. At least not yet that is. Not sure if it has the trigger safety that you fellas seem to not prefer, but I believe it does. What that means, I am not sure though. :dunno:

I think it came with 1 mag, which is an issue though. Oh well.
