i like the 95 grain xtp myself
Silver Bear 94 gr. JHP.
I'm also holding onto what's of my Hornady xtp's for the mak.
First two rounds are magsafe's, the rest of the mag is filled with CorBon 95g. hollowpoints.
Hornady xtp and SB fmj
The Bulgarian Mak in my truck is stuffed with 90 FMJ. The Russian brand.
Do your self a big favor. In any caliber from 9x18 down. Use FMJ or Hard Cast from Buffalo Bore etc.
I agree. With this powder charge and caliber, I am looking for penetration.
95 grain ball (Wolf I think) is what I've carried lately.
I have some Georgia Arms HP's I've been meaning to try for feed reliability.
Buffalo Bore .380 +p 100gr hardcast flatnose. Out of my Makarov, it probably runs close to 1200fps and about 300 ft lbs of energy.
in my p-64 I'm currently using norinco 95gr. fmj
Have you shot that load over a chronograph?
I still have a bunch of Barnaul HPs.
When those are gone I have Hornady HPs.
