Well, I was halfway through lunch when I got a phone call that made me have to call in to work. My grandmother had a heart attack, and is in the hospital as we speak. The artery to the left rear part of her heart was 100% blocked. Luckily, it doesn't look like there is much if any damage that was done to the heart itself, and they were able to remove the clotting and place a stint in. There were some other, more minor blockages, but the doc thinks medication will be able to fix that. So, 11 hours or so since I got the phone call, it looks like all that's left is the recovery part of it.

Thanks, guys. From what the doc was saying, she should be home either Friday or Saturday. She seemed to be doing well today, at least according to my mom. I haven't been able to make it up there today, and probably can't get back up there until tomorrow (damn work anyways!), but I'll let y'all know when I can.
