It had been like 3,582 years since I had been to Wendy's so I decided to break bread there for dinner. I had been wanting to try their new fry's, so I went. I will say those were the best fast food fries I ever had, they weren't the best fries I ever had but they were the best fast food fry I had ever tried. The burger was pretty freakin awesome also. Gotta give them a :eat::cow:

Their Spicy Chicken sandwich is my favorite fast food sandwich. And their Chili Seasoning Sauce(the gold packets) is great for dipping fries in.

They do a pretty good burger (for a fast food joint.)

I think DQ has stepped it up as well (at least in their newer restaurants.)

I'm done with McD's and BK. Checkers (which used to be awesome) has been the suck for years now.

Wendy's is great. For a quick cheap lunch, it's hard to beat two double-stacks for 3.50.

I like that I can get a baked potato or chili instead of fries there. Lately I get a single patty burger and the chili.

I still like McDonald's fries best. Well, except maybe Five Guys.

For some reason, Wendy's seems to be the only mainstream fast food joint that puts reasonably fresh garnish on the sandwiches. The lettuce is always green and crispy and the tomatoes are always red, fresh, and ripe. The lettuce and tomatoes on the sandwiches at McD's, BK, and Hardee's are usually pretty nasty.

I love wendys. I used to work there when I was in high school, matter of fact it was my 2nd ever job. I stayed there for almost two years, and never got tired of the food. Im not huge on fast food anymore, but their burgers are by far the best of the big three IMO. Good side menu options too.

This, the ones I go to every now and again in San Diego always have what seems to be semi fresh veggies.

The new fries at Wendy's are OK, but I've always been a HUGE fan of their chili!

They used to consistently have high standards for cleanliness and quality. I assume they still do. They are very strict on cleaning. A badly managed unit doesn't go uncorrected very long.

My niece worked at one before and said it was very clean, and they were very strict about freshness.
Gotta love a plain potato with chili poured all over it!!!
For burgers however, I'm a Hardee's man myself

Their new burger is horrible. So are their fries.

+1 on the Hardees burgers. Wendys did recently change their burgers though and they are a bit bigger and better tasting.

I agree with you here..but I think Hardee's is on a completely different level. I think Hardee's belongs more in the class with places like Steak 'n Shake, who are head and shoulders above your general fast food joints.

actually, you should go try Burger King's new fries Okie.

All's I gotta say is that being a former Idaho resident, BK's fries are Idaho spuds.....and actually taste as good or better than McDonalds. Plus BK's are thick cut......

I was pleasantly surprised with them.

After you try them, you can thank me later!!

The asiago ranch chicken sandwich is my 2nd favorite after Chick-fil-a.
