    Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site but have found it helpful. I am wondering if anyone can help me. I have a Glock 17 that is pretty old, most likley generation 1. The first two characters of the serial numbers are not of this language. Needless to say i dont recognize what language it is but i am guessing it would be Austrian?? I took my G17 to a glock gunsmith once a few years back and he told me he recommended finding a glock collector if i ever wanted to sell it cause it was valuable. Any one know if this is true or what the deal is with the weird SN.

Well a pic would be needed for sure. If the prefix lettering is not of the Latin alphabet...well, I don't know.
