The Weather Channel App I like. It comes with a stock app which is okay but not the best.

I paid for Weatherbug Elite. Excellent app with no ads on it.

Check the websites for your local/regional TV stations; my local CBS offers a great app for radar. May have to search the station's call letters in the App Store.

My local ABC affiliate's app is great--not a bunch of unnecessary bells and whistles. If you live in tornado country, iwarn (IIRC) is supposed to be jam-up. I think it's about $10 per year, but I'll get it before spring--beats the heck out of the SAME weather radio.

I like accuweather for knowing what is going on at my exact location.

I have Weather Channel, but weatherbug looks much better on my wife's iPhone. I plan on downloading it soon.

WX Alert USA if you want dependable, settable weather alerts, weather bug free version is my daily app of choice myself. What others have listed all work well also.

Accuweather is great it does current temp / humidity, Forecast, Radar, and weather casts, all with any location.

I have iMap Weather Radio, I travel a bit, and I am very happy with it.

When I travel I can watch the weather map and know when I am about to drive into or out of a storm.

I use Accuweather, The Weather Channel, and NOAA Hi-Def Radar.

I have that app, too. It's called "look out the window." Lol

I like the paid versions of both Weatherbug and The Weather Channel.

I just downloaded Wunderground and Accuweather.

I'll say that since IOS6, Weather Channel is faster - that thing used to CRAWL. 30 seconds just to get it to update the current bleepin temp. Now it runs faster - even over the same wifi I had before. (This wasn't a 4G/LTE thing with my i5.)

I like Wunderground. It may usurp TWC. Accuweather seems cumbersome LIKE TWC.

On a related note. The App "RadarScope" is hands down the best radar app out there. It will even superimpose storm tracks on all storm cells... allowing you to know exactly how many minites you have before it starts to rain where you are. Fantastic for planning any kind out outdoor activity.
