    Not exactly...

It's a totally reliable weapon that shoots a man-sized round, that is now really cool.

As opposed to the AR, a really cool weapon that is not reliable and shoots a varmint sized round.

    Which do you prefer?

Thanks guys :wavey:. I thought I was goin to get mostly neg comments about not being a purist. If anyone knows how to get the slant brake off please let me know I been at it for 2 days. It should be left hand thread. I can push the pin in but it wont unscrew, I cant see a weld. Im about to try a blow torch.

The butt stock and magazines are Tapco, the hand guard is from Mako Security, the pistol grip is a Hogue and the scope mount is a UTG. Everything I got fits my WASR like a glove, but if you get the Tapco stock dont use the drill bit that it come with its cheap and to small, it broke off in the stock and was a big headache getting it out. If you do yours in OD post some pics.

I hope it's ok if I post a pic of mine on here :)

ussoldier202 - you're correct about the thread, you may need to oil it or spray some gun scraper to it, there may be either carbon build up or something keeping it from unscrewing, best of luck on that friend and again, Great work on your AK :)

I like ur AK. I really like the stock, I was going to get the stock adaptor like you have but was worried about the extra length, Im used to shooting a M4 all the way collapsed. I finally got the slant brake off I foung a very small spot weld. I had to use a Dremel and blow torch. My next step is getting to the range to see how this Eotech works on it.

wow thats a beauty. Just as purty as the purist ones IMO.
I honestly think so. Because my Lancaster is my first im keeping it in purist form but whenever I pick up another AK (probably a wasr in a few years) I'll do it just like this cept throw a vertical grip in the front instead of the bipod

Just trying to stir up some stuff lol, a little like "DONT SHOOT ARS IN THE HOUSE" and "COLTS ARE JUNK".

No really, I like AKs. And ARs. I have 2 of each.

But I prefer my M16A4, how many people have you killed with 7.62? I assure you 5.56 gets the job done!
