warren tactical sight i need your expert opinion on this sight. Is this a good sight if I'm going to used this sight on ipsc or idpa competition i saw this sight installed on M&P julie goloski smith & wesson model and it has a wide rear easy to see sight picture I think its good for faster sight aquisition and target transition. need some feed back on this sight I also heard feedbacks of hennie slant pro and david sevigny sight but I haven't tried or see it myself unlike the warren tactical sight I've seen it up closed and I'm starting to like it.

I also have it on my G35. It is a big improvement on my Glock.
I got it here from this forum. I'm sure it comes by every once in a while from members who has extra parts.

who installed your sight? do it yourself? I've heard metrillo are good in installing glock parts they always say always entrust your unit in a gunsmith or a glock armorer.

Warren sights manufactures the Dave Sevigny sights. They are one of the best sights in the market.

I personally prefer it over other brands for glocks. I use the sevigny-warren competition plain black variant (see its pic in saki's g35 thread.) Its thick front and wide rear notch help my aging eyes see more. Its well made and have a very clean sight picture. I even copied its dimensions/proprotion on my 1911 sights.

Only prob is the f.sight attachment to the slide w/ a small screw (as in all other brands using this screw-type, like the dawsons, truglo, hi-viz, etc) is not very durable, it usually loosen in time w/ hard use. I loctite its thread and apply epoxy on top of the screw head but still not enough to hold it in place for a reasonable time-usage as in 5,000 rounds. Any suggestions?

far from an expert opinion, though...

I'm just thinking if it will fit my 1911 armscor medallion need to replace my rear sight will it just required a minor gunsmithing? the stock rear sight of my unit is LPA by the way does it comes with a FO front sight?
