Will how about a simple tomate soup with garlic
5 big red vine-ripen tpmatoes
1/4 of mexican oregano
3 cups or veggie broth
1/2 cup of oil
crack black pepper and salt
1 tsp of vinegar
2 garlic cloves peeled and crush
Food proccess the tomatoes to form a good paste, stir all other seasoning and mix very good.
Serve in a good soup bowl
Simple but very good chill soup receipe.
Why do we have lots of Mexican restaurants here in SF Bay Area, but nobody serves gaspacho? I can't affort to go to Tempe for a fix.
probably because gazpacho isn't Mexican. It's Spanish/Portuguese
This one is really simple to make & yummy!
Chilled Avocado Soup
2 Ripe Avocados
3 Cups Chicken Broth
2 Tbs Lemon Juice
2 Tbs Chopped Chives
1/2 tsp Chili Powder
Salt to taste
Blend the avocados in a food processor and add all the other ingredients, blend until smooth. Chill a few hours before serving.
Serve with a spoonful of sour cream or a spoonful of salsa. I like both!
I tried a recipe for chilled beet soup.
I really like beets...a LOT but it was just awful.
