    Well.. what do you do?

    That's a bit like asking "I want a new car, whats the best way to go?".. you'll get tons of opinions, but if you don't tell anyone "I'm a race car driver, and want to use it on the track" it's likely none of them will be any good to you.

    Are you a gamer
    Do you just use office software?
    Do you just do light internet surfing and email?
    Do you involve yourself in heavy video/music editing?..

    The list goes on.

    See the specials and try building one to your specific needs and price.

    This ... plus how much experience with computers do you have? Do you feel comfortable building one from ordered parts or only preassembled?
