Wow, someone doesn't know the meaning of tongue-in-cheek. Sorry to have offended your tender sensibilities, but it was just in jest. I guess they're as sensitive as your tolerance for recoil, huh? Tell me, do you wear a PAST shooting glove when touching off those 9mm rounds? LOL
To humor you, I did refer to Websters and, what do you know, it means exactly what I KNEW it meant.

    Main Entry: pas·sé
    Pronunciation: pa-'sA
    Function: adjective
Etymology: French, from past participle of passer
    1 : past one's prime
    2 a : OUTMODED b : behind the times

Please read my signature, it was written for guys like you. Seek validation? What a bunch of psycho-babble!!! LOL.

Look, I signed that it was written tongue in cheek and even admitted to being a sore loser, if you choose to be offended that's your business. I like the 9mm, and I'm sure I would die a quick and urine stained death if I were to ever be shot by one.

PS: You forgot to mention that my Glock was made in the same country that gave us Adolf Hitler. LOL! That's what made it funny or at least abrasive....

    :laughabove: :laughabove: :laughabove:

OK, you've convinced me, I'm buying a Model 19!!! I want to be confident in my ability to end hostilities quickly. I no longer want to seek validation from others in my choice of calibers. So help me, Mr. 9mm. Let it be written, let it be done.

It's not necessarily the size of the gun, its how you use it.

    Only 5% like the G20:shakehead:

Plenty of bear stopping power and light.

Yes, I was also disappointed that the ceramic wonder wasn't included in this poll. Don't tell Bruce Willis.

I would have to say the Glock 27. For me it's the perfect combination of concealable, capacity, and effective caliber.
It's what I carry when I need something smaller than my Compact 1911 .45.;)

1911's and Glocks; the only pistols a man really ever needs!

23C, 27. But i plan on selling the 27 to get a 19C just cause 9mm is more fun to shoot.

You know, I bought a Model 19 a long time ago, but I never shot it. I gave it to my sister, who wound up selling it...:frown: The .40 cal recoil doesn't bother me, but it's "there". Now I'm thinking, the 9mm must be a joy to shoot, esp in the original Model 17. Hmm. You guys have convinced me. I'll go buy one. I'll keep you posted. (On my way to the classifieds)

Well, since I only have one, my favorite would be the G30. It's thick, stocky, and when it shoots it's mouth off you better listen. I'm sure the others are all great as well. Someday I'm sure I'll own more of them...which makes me want to win the lotto :)

NOt sure how long this one was intended to stay up but from what I am seeing at this point things have settled out to be where they are going to be. I'm not surprised and any of the placings of any of the models. I kinda had a feeling that the 19 would win but I had no idea it would win by such a huge margin.

We all choose which models we buy for our own reasons and our own needs. There is no "wrong answer" as the saying goes. I do feel somewhat validated, though, to see that I have 3 of the top 5; the 23 (2nd place), the 17 (a close 3rd place) and the 21 (5th place). The validation is not improtant at all but it does feel good to know that other people have so much confidence in the same Glocks as I do.

I have enjoyed this poll a lot. Thanks a bunch, Eddie! :perfect10:

In Italy - and in Europe, in general - 9mm is the most widely used cartridge/handgun, definitely and by far: 9 Luger for the army and state police forces, 9x21 IMI for civilians and local police dpts. So the 19 and the 17 are very very common, and I think even the "best seller". Few people, in my Country, own a Glock in .40 or in .45.
    I have 17, 22, 21, 34 and 35 but, as a ten lover, as soon as possible I'm gonna buy a 20, which I love.:)

Wow... I´m a little surprised that the G19 is ahead in the poll. I personally voted for the G19, but my story with the g19 is not what you can call typical. Never fired one or seen one, knew little about guns and owned none but wanted a gun and asked a friend what gun to get, he told me a G19 and so I did without even trying it. that was a long time ago, now I know a little more about guns. My point is that I voted for the G19 because it was my first gun. I love it, still if I for some reason was forced to have only one gun the G19 will be the keeper, but still I would tend to think that the G17 would be on the G19 toes as favorite. Anyways Go 19... you rule!!!!
  14. The Glock 27 has it all. Small size and a good punch.

G20 for sure! I wouldn't trust anything less for what i do. Can u say back woods stopping power? But i love 15 rounds the surefire x200, and my internal laser, with a safariland holster for it all.
