Vision during a gunfight adrenaline rush

  1. Hey Mas, I have heard and read from some instructors who teach point shooting, that your eyes dilate during an adrenaline rush during a gunfight, making it near impossible to focus on your sights in the milliseconds of a reactionary gunfight, and most people will focus on the threat anyway, and point and shoot, which makes a lot of sense to me. What do you think, and what do you recommend? Thank you.

Medical folks tell me that theory is bunk. I've talked to many a gunfight survivor who saw his sights and got good hits.

    best,
    Mas
