I know that we GTOD'ers are scattered clear across the Commonwealth, but we do on occasion get out of our normal areas. As part of that sight-seeing, most of us want to know where the good gun stores are, like the post this week on whether Green Top is worth a stop. Heck, I have to go to Richmond next week, I'm curious about other stores in the area.

Mostly hunting oriented, but with a pretty well stocked milsurp rack. Tends towards the overpriced, but they have always treated me right, and usually pretty friendly. Excellent stock of reloading supplies. I was in the Marine Corps with one of the counter guys.

Ernie Nuckol's will be under new ownership shortly by a friend of mine. Ernie will still be there, providing hi excellent gunsmithing and stories. The shop will be 50 times more organized, I can tell you that much! If you could get half the stuff out of the backroom on the floor than it would do incredible business! anyway...

I am moving to Accomack County on the eastern shore. Anyone know of any good gun shops that will handle FFL transfers? Also, are there any pistol ranges on the eastern shore that are open to the public?
