Hi All. I'm new to the site. Very happy to discover it as I've collected Glocks since 1988. I know, there are different schools of thought on whether Glocks are "actually collectors" or whehter one should just shoot and enjoy them. Well....I do both. I thought you may enjoy a picture of my "Vintage" Gen 1 Glock 17, Serial dated to one of the first imports in 1986-88. As you can see, it's all original NIB with manual still in plastic, both 17rd original mags and cleaning tool. Never fired! I know, I know! Why?? Well, I acquired a 19 at the same time and shot it regularly. The 17 was placed in safe and became a "queen". Maybe one day my boys will say: "This is the vintage, collectible Glock 17 Gen 1 that Dad left to me". I would like to know how may, unfired, all NIB Gen 1 17's are out there. Hope you enjoy seeing it.
