Hello everyone. I just purchased a Panasonic HDC-TM700k for whatever. This camera records in 1080p/60 which I hear is straining on some systems. I think I'll end up buying Sony Vegas 9 for editing.

    My system is as follows:
Core i7 920 stock clock or mild OC just depending.
    Asus P6T6 WS Revolution
    6GB of RAM
    GTX 260 X2 SLI
A couple different HDDs only 7200rpms no SSDs.

I'm fairly confident I'll be able to handle the video but I've never done editing before and I just want to make sure. Does anyone know of any better software that can handle 1080/60p? I've read good reviews on the Sony stuff.

    Thanks in advance.:patriot:
