Looks VERY well machined and very smooth.

    Here is the slide/frame fit:

Looks better than that of this Springfield Loaded.

Sorry, the pics kind of suck. I will try and get better ones.

Anyone have experience with these ATI's? Made in the Phillipines.

Does anyone know if they are forged or cast?

Congrats! That is a tight fit. How about some pics of the whole gun though. :)

They are put together by Shooters Arms Manufacturing (SAM) a well known maker in the Philippines. SAM also makes the Iver pistols and I played with a Trojan that shot well.

    How does it shoot?

Only got to run 5 mags through it but she ran perfect. Very accurate like you would expect of a 1911, and also like all 1911's I've ever shot, has a very good trigger.

    Here is a lousy pic.

Must be something with the Phillipine 1911's. My Citadel looks exactly like that. Also, the extractor literally disappears into the back of the slide. It barely looks like it has one till you look closely.

Congrats, looks nice. I saw bud's had them for 4390, now they are out of stock. I thought that was a pretty good price.
