I've got a new g21sf in the mail, and was trying to locate some extra mags, but my local supplier lists the g21 mags (in stock), as well as g21sf mags that 'work in either' but are (back ordered) some online research at brownells, glockstore etc doesn't list a g21sf specific mag. Anyone know what the difference is? or if there is a difference?

I believe that the magazines for the 21SF are for models with the ambidextrous magazine release (which mine does). These mags will work with any 21. The older mags for the 21 that do not have notched/curved edges at the top (not a good description, but if you look at them side to side you can see) will only work in the 21. There are 21SF models that are made with only the left side magazine release, so all 21 mags will work with them.

21SF mags work in all Glock 21's----Old Glock 21 Mags DO NOT work in the 21SF's!!!!! Look at the front of the mags the 21SF's have a rectangle cut out in the front that shows metal the old mags do not and there for do not work in the 21SF models that are ambi.
