Does anyone do this? Does A&G make a spacer for the G39? Does a spacer for another model work?

BTW, http://www.policehq.com/Products/GL-M1DUTYCLIP has 10 round magazines for $22.99 (with free shipping through October 31st. Use coupon code 103110h.)

You don't need a spacer for a 10 round magazine to work. It's strictly cosmetic. When I carried a G26 daily, I used the standard 10 round magazine for carry but carried a 17 round magazine as a spare. I figured if I needed to reload, I needed as much ammo as the gun would hold.

The 9mm/40cal spacers will work as the GAP magazines have the same dimensions.

Thanks, David. I just thought a spacer would help with stability, but I guess a magazine without a spacer would be easier to carry and conceal. I use one on my G30 with a 13 round mag.

A spacer for a G26/27/33 will work. Same size mag.

OK. Should I get the one for 17 to 26 or the one for 19 to 26? One is longer than the other one.

The 10 round GAP magazine is the same size as the G17 17 round magazine. So you want the 17 to 26 sleeve.

I personally had problems using a 10-round magazine with my G39.

BUT... I'm left-handed, and I think that had something to do with it.

Basically, my pinky finger was pushing the bottom of the mag to the left, while the ball of my index finger was riding the bottom corner of the mag release - and combined, it made the mag drop just enough to cause jams.

When I put a sleeve on, this problem went away. Still, I don't carry my G39 in this configuration.

I didn't try shooting with the 10 round mag until after I got the grip sleeve. It just looked unfinished without it. What I didn't think about was that the grip sleeve would be black and my G39 is OD green. She looks really aggressive and mean in that configuration. :wow: I will carry the 10 rounder as a spare mag.
