    Certainly possible, but not likely.

"Blue Helmets"? Really? I don't understand why people are worried about UN troops. For the past five decades, they've proven time and time again that they couldn't mount a successful raid on a latrine.

It's BS propaganda by those who want others to think the sky is falling? We figured that out last week.

It's a real threat, but Congress will never ratify this. Obama will be gone in January, and all will be well in the world again.

U really like Romney has a chance in hell at beating Obama? Obama is looked at like a god amongst his supporters, Romney is just looked at as the guy that can beat Obama. Hell, I haven't heard a single person that has said they actually like anything about him other than the fact that he can theoretically beat Obama. Now, don't get me wrong, he will be getting me vote, but I know several registered Republicans who will be skipping the polls this fall because they refuse to vote for either, and even more that will be writing in people like Ron Paul etc. Maybe im pesimistic, but I don't see a chance in hell for Romney to will.

Some of you folks need to watch the YouTube video linked above. If what Morris says is true, the Senate may never get the chance to vote down the ATT once Obama/Hillary signs it, and it would become binding as long as Obama never renounces it. Also, it is not a given that Obama will lose the election.

I like Morris but he's just flat out wrong on many things. Treaties do not become the law of the land simply because the president hasn't renounced it and the Senate hasn't yet voted on it. And BTW, Obama isn't signing it, the Secretary of State is.

I am beginning to wonder if the gun community is not one of the more gullible segments of society.

Im not saying that it will happen, Im just saying that it theoretically can. All it would take is a supreme court descision stating that the 2nd ammendment really just means the national guard, an arguement Im sure we have all heard from people that oppose firearm ownership.

Wil it happen this next term? Very unlikely. But 10, 15, 20 years down the road? Who knows. I mean, who's to say we wont have a string of Liberal Presidents, or at least one in office when a Conservative justice or two died. If that happened, and they were able to gain the majority of the SC, do you really think they wouldn't take advantage of it?

They wouldn't have to shut down the 2nd ammendment, just bend it to what they think(or want it to) it means. Are there some people out there that are going overboard with paranoia? Yes, but I think it is also healthy to be aware of the possibilities of what could happen down the road.
