Union Workers

    Unions are killing this country; here is a prime example. There is a growing trend in our country for union workers to be a little on the lazy side. It is not uncommon for as many as 12 union employees to stand around and watch while only one person does the work. As you can see in the attached photo, the situation is way out of hand:

    That board looks ready to snap. OSHA wouldn't allow someone without proper safety gear on the job site. :)
    You are correct about unions.
    I was involved where a traffic control box had been spray painted with gang stuff. Take a wild guess how many people it took to repaint it. Well you need the painter and his supervisor as it is electrical he must be there. Then you need at least one Police officer to protect them as gang related. Of course you need Electrician and his assistant. Plus you need a public works person. So 5+ people at minimum to repaint a box that maybe has 30sq ft of serface area. Often more.
    Heck a statue was hit by paintballs. They paid over $3000 to have the paint removed by experts. I could have done the same thing with a supersoaker.
