I read on the Air Force Forum that they have their own version of the ACU, the Marines have their own and the Army has their ACU, heck, the Navy probably does also.

Why? Unless the Air Force uniform is made to blend in with desks, computers and flight line; the Navy uniform to blend in with water why wouldn't they all be the same. Same with boots and gear.

There are 1 or two Air Force people hanging out in Iraq(JTACS anyone)--same with the Navy(Seabees).

As far as the different uniforms go...It all started when the Army and Marine Corps wanted to change the BDUs. The Marines bit the bullet first, and actually copywrited their uniform. Because of that EVERYONE needs their own style of funky go to war pajamas.
