Modern Warfare 3 Edition Jeep. I would give my left nut for one of these machines... Up with the best that Jeep has ever built, esp regarding the seats. Check out the video. Talk about the ultimate BOV....

It's all fluff. Just another suburban grocery getter with "special" badging.

Real jeeps aren't bought, their built!

    Alaska, again (for now)
What does that have to do with the badging being goofy?

I like playing it as much as the next guy, but I don't want to drive something with it all over.

Not to mention, stock jeeps aren't exactly inspiring in their offroad performance.

    ^^^ This.

Seriously, is the OP some kind of april fool's joke? Really? Any jeep made in the last 10 years is marginal at best off-road. The types who drive them look at my trail junk and scratch their head wondering why my wheels have eight lug nuts instead of five, and what those "other lugnuts around the edge" are for.

    So a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with MW3 trim = $36,000 to $40,000

    http://www.jeep.com/en/callofduty/

A millionaire calling you out with a $40,000 Jeep, a video camera, a rusty pair of pruning shears, and a wooden spoon for you to bite down on = Priceless.

    (Donning flame suit...)

Based on a strictly second-hand perspective (having friends who've owned them); that comment, and blk69stang's "marginal at best" comment sums up what I've consistently heard & read over the years.

Which my little brain can't help but hear as, "As they come from the factory, their capabilities are disappointing."

Never owned one, but every friend of mine who has, has echoed that sentiment; which I confess matches my personal experience with the one land rover we owned. (As in, "yuck", and "never again". :puking: )

Imo, reliability has to be #1 with emergency gear, period. Vehicles, guns, or water filters; if I can't count on them without reservation, I simply can't count on them. And the CJ series has a poor reputation for simple day-to-day reliability.

As far as badging, I've considered these for my vehicle:

A good friend of mine has those on the sides of his much-modified wrangler, and they cracked me up the first time I saw them.

OP don't listen to that stuff it's a great looking Jeep on the Rubicon platform that is very solid! Rubicon lets you lock all 4 hubs too, most 4X4 have one front drive wheel and one rear when it gets slippery, this is a true 4X4.
