my buddy is doing an LS1 swap on his 95 camaro (he owns a shop and most of his customers have LS1s) and he is offering me the 388 cubic inch, 4 bolt main, 8.5:1 compression, steel crank/rod, ported heads, solid roller cam LT1 and a custom turbo people race kit complete with intercooler, t76 turbo and all the trimmings to drop into my 94 lt1 camaro. he hasnt come up with a price yet, but its gonna be a fraction of what it took to build it. this motor made 770rwhp through a powerglide trans at a lowly 18lbs of boost. ;f

now to buy a 12 bolt rear end, a dual disc clutch, a fuel system and engine management. can you say 'sleeper'?

    STANMAN I HATE RICERS!!

I will always hate the fact that in this new body style you take the car off the engine, instead of just pulling the engine. Only GM would do some stupid crap like that. The 383 stroker does sound good though!!

the last lt1 swap i did from the top was a 396" setup that made 440rear wheel horse power on motor and 660 on the gas. its do able, but more difficult then just pulling the k member.

the car isnt going to be setup to drag race, so it will be lucky to get in the 10s.
