    What I would desire would have to be taken up in state code.

    I think if you make a mistake that kills another person that you should be charged with some type of negligence up to and including involuntary manslaughter.

    I am a life long motorcyclist and it pains me every time one of these things happens...

    If the penalties were stiffer, folks might actually pay attention to what they are doing.

    We want to hang someone if they are on a cell phone and cause a fatality, but not someone that makes a mistake supposedly with all their faculties.

    Rant over.

    I feel bad for the Officers family and friends...
